I am Such a BAD Patient. My Confession.
I went in for a NST this morning and the baby was not moving at all. This isn't terribly unusual for this baby. His movement patterns are really sporadic and always have been. I wasn't concerned but, the office staff hates it when I show up for these and he sleeps for the whole 20 minutes.
We tried some cold water and moving around. Nothing. The medical assistant then decides she can offer me some candy, although she's not supposed to offer any "non healthy" item to patients. She's a little on the fence about it but, also really seems concerned that he isn't moving at all. While we are having the discussion, I feel him roll a little bit and I didn't hit the button, because I really wanted the candy.
