Refresh my memory on weekly appointments

When did you start going to weekly appointments? What happens at those appts? Do they do a cervix check at every appt? I go for my next appointment this Friday at 34 weeks 1 day.

Mine start at 36 weeks (tomorrow) and they do an internal at each plus the regular stuff.

36 weeks, but what happens varies by doctor. Mine didn't do internals last time.

I'll start after my 36ish- so34.5, 36.5, 37.5- too.

No checks until 41w for me, but how many/often can vary widely.

We have the same due date- my regular ob appointments go weekly during week 36, because I am also considered high risk, I have been doing those appointments (stress/movement tests one week, measurements the following week) every week since November 27th. My regular ob will do an internal at my next visit (next week).

I started weeklies at 35 weeks but my doc doesn't do internals until 38 weeks.

I'm sure the specifics depend on your office.

My weekly appts start at 37 weeks and they will do internals starting then as well. Assuming nothing else is wrong, I'm told the rest of the appt will be the same - pee in a cup, weight, BP check, listen to heartbeat.

I'm at a group midwife practice: weeklies start at week 36 and no internal exams before 40 weeks unless the patient requests it.

My office starts weeklies and internals at around 36 weeks. My appointments were falling on the odd week, so I get an extra and started at 35.

36 weeks for me as well. My Dr told me that internals are my choice, so I will definitely get one next week to see where we are.
