Simple stitch for DIY flannel wipes?

Hi all.  I got an abundance of 100% cotton flannel receieving blankets (in some hideous prints), so I was going to cut them up into wipes.  I have some basic hand sewing skills, and a very basic sewing machine (no special foot attachments). What stitch would you recommend on the seems to keep it from unraveling?

TIA!

Fleece won't ravel, you don't have to see at all! If you're talking about flannel, a zig zag stitch would work fine.

I'm assuming you mean cotton flannel (fleece is polyester and will not fray). But as PP mentioned, you can do a zig zag stitch or else you can cut them in to squares, put them right sides together and sew them, leaving a small hole to turn them back the "right" way and then either leave them, or top stitch them.
