When did you start your period?

My DD is 8 months.  I had a period 1 time before but haven't had one since.  I have just started and wondered if that is normal or if I should be concerned?  When did you start your period while EBF?

    I just had my first pp period last month (DS was around 13 months).  I would say that your normal.  I have heard so many ppl say that their pp period's were outta whack for a while.

    I just started my first one today (almost 9 mos pp) :(:(:(

    It's normal for them to be wonky for a while.

    ugh..I just got mine and I'm only 6wks pp!! not fair..hopefully it's just a random one and I wont get another for a while haha

    4 months. : But 8 months with no period is normal for EBFing.

    That's most likely just your lochia restarting. It's common for it to do that at 6 weeks pp, then taper off at 8 weeks pp. Though some women do really get AF back that early, too.

    Still no period at 14 1/2 months. I just stopped pumping at work so it might show up sometime soon.

    With DS1 I didn't get my period until I stopped BS around 14 months.  I'm hoping it stays away for awhile!

    I didn't get my first pp period until 13.5 months, a couple weeks after I stopped breastfeeding. But I know several people who got it all at different times, 6 months, 6 months, 8 months, etc... all while still nursing, just once they slowed down and/or started the weaning process.  Mine was also very irregular when it came back.

    A few days shy of 5 months.
    DS (7 years old) from FET in 2010
    DD (5 years old) from IUI in 2012

    The day before 6 weeks post partum... and it's definitely my period. I'm one of those unlucky ones!
