Emma has arrived!

Emma Elaine was born friday august 12th at 12:45pm. I started feeling contractions thursday afternoon, i went for a walk and they intensified. At about 11:30 we went to the ER. i was only dialated to one so they sent me home (crying). i went back at 6 am and was at 3cm dialated and 100 percent effaced. they admitted me and i got my epidural (god i love those things) . By 12 i was dialated to 10, and it took 6 pushes before little Emma arrived. it was relatively painless, except for the contractions i felt before the epidural. i feel so blessed to have had a good experience and a beautiful little girl to show for it. i will post pics later once we are settled. thank you ladies for all your support through this pregnancy. i pray for wonderful deliveries for those of you who haven't had your LOs yet.
