Big Boy Bed

So we converted our crib into the toddler bed (we have a 3-in1 type bed), becuase our LO was trying to climb into his bed by himself and out.

But now that the bed is free for him to climb in and out, he wants to sleep ont he floor instead? Has anyone seen this? Should I allow him to fall asleep on the floor then move him into his bed once he is a sleep? We have been dealing wiht this now for 4 nights. I don't want to force him to sleep on his bed, but when I tired to change it back to the crib last night he freaked becuase he wanted it off. He just want to be able to climb in and lay down and then climb out.

I would let him sleep on the floor. He will get used to the big boy bed soon and will probably start sleeping in it.

I would totally let him sleep on the floor. Eventually he will decide the bed is more comfy. Until then, it is certainly not hurting him.

I agree that letting sleep on the floor isn't a big deal. It may be a control thing, because now he gets to choose where he sleeps. And how cool is that (some nights I just wanna sleep on the couch, lol)? Just let him decide for himself when the bed is more comfy than the floor.
