I had bars instead of glass for windows before in college. They made me feel a lot safer.
The bars say nothing about you except that you want to be safe.
Did you decide that you didn't want to tell us about the 3rd world country part?
yes because after i wrote it i reread it and hit the "stop" button because it sounded bad. Apparently it didn't stop it and then posted my edit as a second post.
I was not at all implying that they are 3rd world. It's just where I was when I personally lived in a concrete box with bars instead of windows.
There are plenty of decent places with bars on windows. I was just saying that it doesn't mean anything about the person living there.
Oh I completely recognize that there are completely classy, normal people who have bars on their windows. It would have just been icing on the cake coming from MM. YKWIM?

LOL, I knew what you meant. I wasn't actually offended.

The red "x" next to your search bar? Doesn't that stop any current page from loading/updating? Usually right next to the "refresh" button? Do not all browsers have this?!

Oh, I thought she meant some special button in the bump that allows you to pause a post to edit it. I don't think hitting the red X is supposed to do that.

The red x won't stop something from posting if you have already hit post, believe me I have tried

Our family in Puerto Rico, they have bars on their windows. And on top of the concrete walls, there are cemented-in broken glass bottles. That's considered home security. And there's totally nothing wrong with that.

I had bars instead of glass for windows before. I lived in a 3rd world country in college on study-away. They made me feel a lot safer.

I'm glad someone else saw that. Weird.
My bars on my windows say I live on the ground floor in the middle of a city. I'm not actually concerned that my window bars make me trashy.
ETA: Oh, I thought she edited the post, not wrote a new one. Still weird.

But who says I'm classy or normal?
Since when is there a stop button?
