I'm not pregnant....yet, but my Ob/Gyn perscribed me prenatal vitamins. They are a little pricey and theres no way i'm going to spend that kind of cash on vitamins. So i was wondering if over the counter prenatal vitamins were the same as perscription?
Re: prenatal vitamins
OTC prenatals work just fine. I use Good Sense prenatals from Wal Mart.
Clomid- No response
Metformin 1500 mg Femara 5mg + Trigger + TI Round 2 = BFP!
Beta 13DPO: 115, Beta 16dpo: 561 BFP Chart
I took/still take Flintstones.
I have a horrible time swallowing pills and those prenatals are monsters!
This. Flintstone Completes, one twice a day. They were life savers, since I can't swallow horse pills normally, much less when I have the super-sensitive pregnancy gag reflex.
Target brand was easy on my stomach and cheap. My insurance wouldn't cover the ones my OB prescribed, but the samples he gave me made me sick anyway. When I switched doctors, the new place told me not to worry about prescription.
Due 3.1.12
Levi 7.26.09
Wood you? Wood too!
My insurance doesn't cover ANY prescriptions until I meet my deductible! Horrible, right??? Thanks for all the advice ladies!
Definitely the Target brand - they're easy to swallow and cheap.
