B is currently 24in at 4 month old, He was born 19 in. They said that puts him in 2nd% for height. Just curious to see where everyone else is at. Thanks!

It sounds like he's pretty average. It was a nurse who came out to my house for a monthly check up from my insurance. So who knows if she's right or not with the percentile. I'm going to check with our pedi. Thanks ladies!

At DS's 4 month appointment he was 24 and 3/4 inches. He was also born 19 inches. At 4 months he was considered 50th percentile for height. However, our pedi told us at his 2 month appointment that their height at that point is no indication of what they'll be as an adult, it only has to do with the size of our uterus. I'm not sure at what point it does begin to be an indicator of adult height (not that you were asking, just thought that was interesting).

DD was 17 inches at birth and 5 pounds even (she was five weeks early). She just had her four month checkup today and she was 23.5 inches (5th percentile) and 13 lbs, 5 oz (21st percentile). (She's two days shy of five months, but close to four months adjusted.)
DD was 23.5" at her 2 month check up, 19 3/4 at birth. Her pedi said she was the height of an average 4 month old. She was growing like a weed. Neither of us is tall. I don't know what she'll be at her appointment next month. There are different growth charts for boys and girls though, so that makes a difference for %

DD was 25.5 inches at 4 months.
24 inches would put your DS in the 25-50th percentile (according to my growth chart app and based on WHO standards) not the 2nd percentile...
