Does Teething = More Pooping?

Hello Everyone, my little one is turning 6 months tomorrow.  She usually poops once or twice a day but last night and into this morning has been pooping every 2 to 4 hours.  She seems to be her usual self and pretty happy otherwise and the poops look normal.  I can't call the doctor until tomorrow (Monday)  Just wondering in the meantime, if anyone else has experienced this or if you know if it could be a sign that she is about to teeth?  Thanks in advance.

  • I have read that the stools may be a little looser/more due to excess drool being swallowed.  Not sure how scientifically founded that is... different folks seem to have different opinions on this issue!
