I had the same problem. I had to stop pumping because that was causing me to hyper let down..whatever its called! DD was crying and screaming while she was blasted in the face with milk. I still pump about once a day just so I can have a break!
STOP PUMPING!!! Pumping is just telling your body to make more - which clearly it doesn't need to do! Not only is an oversupply a PITA when you are trying to nurse and baby is getting sprayed, but it keeps baby from getting enough hindmilk.
You can hand express to relieve engorgement if you need to. And you'll probably need to block feed (kellymom.com has good info) to get things under control.
So my issue is that I need to pump to build a stash for when I go back to work. I only ever feed DD from one breast at a time to try to control the issue (per kellymom).
