We give DD the drops for her gas pain, and they help somewhat. Be prepared that they aren't 100% effective, she still grunts and has moments where nothing works but tummy massage and tooting.

This! Molls had colic, the drops didn't really help.
My daughter had colic as well, she's on formula for it and we give her the drops before she starts eating. By the time she's done I can feel her passing gas and then while she's sleeping I hear her passing the gas. Sometimes if you wait till the end it's too late, at least it was in our case. The fits of 3 hour crying have gone and now we have fussy moments lasting sometimes 30 minutes. But so much better.
