Oh how I love middle schoolers!

I teach middle school math. Today at work I went into one of the 8th grade classrooms with kids I had two years ago. One of the boys I had decided it would be a good idea to point out that "dang you look like you gained a tooonnn of wieght". Why gee thanks that really makes me feel good. When I said that I was pregnant he said "oh it just looks like you ate too much". Gosh I just love middle schoolers!

    I teach middle school science and they don't always have a filter when they speak. Confused

    That blows. Pretty insensitive...blame it on the fact that parts of their brains aren't even close to done developing. ;)

    I teach middle school math too!  They definitely do not have a filter.  They would ask me if I was pregnant when I wasn't and say "Oh well you look pregnant."  Ugggh!  Now, they aren't asking me because they are probably afraid to!!
