Want to know the bad thing about early morning feedings?

The infomercials on tv. We sleep with the tv on because I hate having to turn the nightstand light on and blind us all when I have to make a bottle in the middle of the night.

Anyway, the last 3 nights now, the baby bullet has been on. Geeze, I want one. I know it's ridiculous because I can do the same thing in my little food processor, but it's amazing! Not $100 amazing, but still pretty darn cool. I always need to stop myself from calling, because it's also buy one, get one. Ahh! So I need to find something new to watch at 4 am.

What do you watch when you're awake at 4am?

We have netflix on the PS3, so I usually find some documentary or something to watch because I'm a dork and I love those things.

Hahaha! I think my husband was the most excited when our LO started sleeping through the night. He was getting tired of talking me out of buying the Baby Bullet everyday. I would always watch that infomercial too.

I thought I was the only one! This morning it was the Kelly Van Gogh haircolor infomercial. I haven't had my hair colored since CC was born 8 weeks ago. Ugh.

I keep the tv on for the same reason. It's a double edge sword because little miss seems to sleep more soundly when the tv is off, but then I scare the crap out of her when I turn on a light so that I can make a bottle.

Yes. BF also has to talk me out of calling to see how much the WEN hair treatment system is. Those are the only 2 infomercials I see. Oh, and Insanity. I really want that, too.

I just sit in the dark in LOs room. I don't want to wake her up too much or myself for that matter. Plus, it's only 10-15 minutes, so not worth going downstairs and turning the TV on. But, I was planning on watching the royal wedding because LO was always up at that time anyway, and she was, but I forgot!

Golden Girls is on from 3-5 and then I Love Lucy comes on! If it's after 5:30 I turn on the radio and listen to the local morning show. And I now want so many things that I see on infomercials too!

We sleep with the tv on now too. I usually fall asleep with "Nick at Nite" on because I prefer light comedy as opposed to the news or infomercials at 4am. Unfortunately though at about 4am I am either watching Family Matters or Full House. I just told my sister that I am getting a little tired of hearing, "Did I do that?" and "How Rude!" Can't believe I liked either of those shows when I was younger.

I do night feeding side-lying, so I usually either just doze or read a magazine. I've taken to leaving the little lamp on all night because I hate turning it on and off. I've got a single bed in the baby's room.

I really really want a steam pocket mop and now it comes with a hand scrubber too! If it cleans a bathroom as well as the black light says it does I'm sold! I seriously am going to ask for it for my birthday.

Also, I looked into the wen hair system and I think its $30 for a one month supply. You van find it on their website, but they say the more you use the better it works and I have really thick long hair so I think I'd have to use so much it would be too expensive.

I am so grateful that we bought a PVR a few months before she arrived... I called it an investment and it's truly been one of the best "baby things" we've purchased. At 4am I am usually watching Say Yes to the Dress or House Hunters ... dumb, no brainpower, 1/2 hour shows - perfect for nightly breastfeeding sessions!

Just curious, why don't you just use a nightlight? I would never be able to sleep with the tv on. We have one in our room and hers!

But, if I were to watch tv in the middle of the night, it'd definitely be something mindless that I DVR'd for that purpose, like Friends reruns or Househunters

Shamefully...anything on the OWN network. There is a stupid commercial for "pajama jeans." I was going to ask if anyone ordered them...they are terrible and cost $30.
