Newborn Photography?

Hi Ladies,

I don't post much on this board, but I was looking for recommendations for baby/newborn photographers in the Annapolis area. I would like to gift a photography session for one of my friends who is due in July for newborn/family photos once the baby is born. I would like to keep it around $150 including the rights to the photos if at all possible. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks!

    We have used her to photograph our family twice, and we've been really happy with her. I've seen some of her newborn photos and they look great also. Her prices are reasonable so maybe it could work?!

    My wonderful office just gifted me with a $150 gift certificate to Love, Magic & Mudpies Photography.  Their website is lovemagicmudpiesphotography.com and they also have a facebook page.  The certificate includes a 3 hour photo session at my home with anyone in my immediate family and includes one 8x10 and two 5x7 pics.  I dealt with Courtney who has been very responsive.  I'm very excited to be using them!  I'm due in about 3 weeks and will need to schedule the session within 12 days of delivery.  Also, they are running a special this month - some sort of discount on picture packages, I think its 20% off...so you should definitely contact them soon.  Hoep this helps!

    i was going to suggest love, magic & mudpies photography too!  they did some images of both of my children together.  they are so nice and very accommodating!  according to their website they are running a 30% off special for both maternity and newborns this month.

    We use Jeff Jackson Photography.  His website is below....DS has a couple newborn pics on the website and some of my maternity are on there as well.  He does great work and can come to you if needed.

    I used www.kimfloresphotography.com/ and was absolutely thrilled with her pics...of course my newborn was about 5 months old when we used her...but still the pics were awesome!  She works very well with children.

    DH's cousin, Stacy Meadows, has done family pictures (us and the dog), engagement photos, and took pics at our wedding that I like better than the photographer that we hired all that I have all loved. We will be using her to do newborn and 1st year photos for us, as that was part of her baby shower gift to us. I honestly don't know what her prices are like because we usually get a family discount, but I'm sure she is reasonable. Her website is meadowsmoments.com
