  How does somebody get "Danielle" out of that?  I could maybe possibly understand Daniel, but not Danielle.  Poor girl.

  It was an adult! I have this nagging feeling she changed the spelling of her own name, I don't think many people felt the need give their kids a "unique" spelled name in the late 70s early 80s. I could be wrong though.

  I would pronounce it like Daniel instead of Danielle.
