Anybody try pumping to induce?

Just wondering if anyone has tried to pump in order to help with labor?  My midwife told me I could be didn't say how long to pump for.  Thanks!

    Google nipple stimulation. You'll find lots of resources. From what I understand, though, it generally helps most once you're already in labor, rather than to start labor.

    Yep! didn't work...

    However, when my water broke,  but I wasn't have any contractions after 3 hours, I used it to start them.

    I tried with my manual.  I read five minutes on each side per hour.  After the second time I gave up.   It was too time consuming for the lack of results. =[

    I've been pumping about every other night for about a week and have gotten no where. I use my manual pump, and do 5-10minutes on each side for about an hour. I usually lock myself in the office and watch an episode or two of something to keep myself entertained. Doesn't hurt to try though, maybe it will work for you! :)
