when did your baby arrive (what week)? I hear that generally for first time mommies the little ones don't come on time, they generally come later. Is that your experience too?

I haven't had my first yet, but my brother and SIL just had their first and she had to be induced- he came at 41 weeks. My mom had me (first child) at 37 weeks- so who knows

wow such a variety. Seems like most people were late with their first one, some on the 2nd too, and a few that were early. My friends came 3 weeks early too, I'm 34 going on 35. Hoping the little one hangs out until week 40.

My ob says 41 weeks, but according to my ovulation date it was 41 weeks and 3 days. I was induced. Everyone is different though.

DS arrived at 34 weeks 5 days....by emergency c-section due to Pre-E and HELLP Syndrome.

I assume though that you aren't polling mother's who experienced special circumstances...so feel free to ignore my info. LOL!

This for me too (with DD1). My water broke at home one night, bur I needed pitiful to start contractions.

Went for an induction at 41wks, cervadil was enough overnight though. I went into labor early the next morning on my own so he was born at 41w1d.
