STTN - pumping ?

So dd only has done this once. 2 nights ago she slept 7 hours. It was lovely but my boobs hurt so bad since they are used to going max 5 hours until then. My LC said even if she's STTN I need to get up and pump a bit. I shuold have asked then but my mind was half out of it trying to remember other stuiff going on.

How long do you pump for in the middle of the night? 5 minutes - 10 minutes?

The longest stretch we got last night was 4.5 hours so I didn't need to worry about it, but just in case it happens again. (which I hope) TIA

My LC says to pump for 2 letdowns. After the 2nd letdown, time 2 minutes and you're done. I guess it would equal out to about 10 minutes if you're doing both at the same time.

I keep pumping until they feel empty - usually about 15 min each side if I haven't gone too long.

I pump if I'm uncomfortable. I pump until I feel relief- usually 10 minutes.

I usually pump for 10 minutes around 1 or 2 am and then another 10 minutes around 4 or 5 am. Jack has been sleeping through the night since he was about 5 months old and my supply TANKED when I tried to get a full night's sleep as well.
