Dx with Ectopic on 12/7/09. Laparoscopy, D&C, and lost my left tube on 12/08/09.

Well, I never actually saw Dr. C, but I go to her office for my Killer Cell Treatment and Rachel administers it. I go to one of the other offices for the blood draw test. I just went for a treatment last week. It was funny because baby was measuring one day behind on the 8w ultrasound, then I had treatment and all of a sudden LO is ahead.
Makes me feel like it is working even if it had nothing to do with it.
I get tested again on the 21st and if I am high again I will go up to Evanston for another treatment.
I see. I wasn't sure if you were doing the first trimester with her. I haven't actually seen her either. We live several hours away so we did phone consultations with her and had blood tests and all that sent to her. Since we decided not to do IVIg this time, she just wants me to keep her updated. I hope your NK Cell levels stay down! GL!

Why did they want you to do IVIg as opposed to intralipids?
Her partner was the one I was seeing and he released me to my regular OB for everything else once we saw a heartbeat. I felt kind of shoved off to the side because I know Dr. C sees most people until they are done with their first tri. Maybe it was just hormones. LOL.

I'm getting an u/s at 11w so it helps to see what I should be looking at.
My NK Cells were not elevated when they tested me, so intralipids wasn't an option. I have elevated antiphospholipid antibodies, so besides Lovenox and BA (which I have been on for several pregnancies), IVIg is the only option. We are going with a higher dose of Lovenox and hoping that works for us this time.

Well I am glad you didn't have elevated killer cells! That's great news! I feel like there has been nothing worse than thinking my body is attacking my baby.
I'm sorry you didn't get a real answer though and I hope the higher dose of Lovenox works for you! Lots of T&P coming your way!
Sorry I kind of took over your post! APAs are similar (yet different). From what I understand, they attack the pregnancy and cause inflamation which therefore puts you at an even higher risk for blood clots.

No worries. I was wondering what happened to you after we first talked. Your situation sounds pretty crappy too and I am so sorry for that. I'm glad you know though now and hopefully it will all work out!
