I will be 40 wks on 2/22 and dr said if she is not here by then he will strip membranes on that day and schedule me to be induced later in the week.

Please don't flame me for wanting her to come next week. it is because my mom is flying up from florida on my due date and she wont be here for long. hubby and I have no family here in Michigan and I really want my mom to be able to see baby for as long as possible.

There's nothing wrong with you wanting your full term baby to come. Hope everything goes smoothly and your mom gets to spend as much time playing grandma as she can!

I plan to be induced a week early if he's measuring big and cervix is happy for pure convenience. My ob is going out of town the week I'm due and my mom only has a small window of time she can fly in to see him.

So don't feel bad being excited! YAY!
