Vibrator?

This is an embarrasing question, but is it safe to use a vibrator pregnant? Has anyone here done it or asked their doctor about it? Thanks.

I have read that it is fine as long as you are making sure it's really clean, which I think is kind of the obvious. Go on babycenter.com/or babycentral.com and google it. There's a whole article.

As long as you aren't on pelvic rest, yes. Just make sure to clean it.

well I used mine today with DH but didn't go in, just used it on the outside parts. I clean it before and after use every time.

I never asked my doc, but love using my Lilo. I don't insert it either and bought a special spray for cleaning it. We don't need any infections down there right now. I highly recommend vibrators for preg women that want to have sex, but aren't always in the mood. It's like an appetizer! I guess I should ask my doc. The baby is always worked up at the end, like WHOah, what's going on!
