Here's a game for us that's kind of a GTKYBF

Where are your kids when.....

you're working?

you're cooking?

they get a time out?

you go grocery shopping?

you're getting intimate with SO?

you need to be alone?

Where are your kids when.....

you're working? DD goes to an inhome daycare 3 days a week

you're cooking? she's either trapped in the living room or with DH!

they get a time out? either a corner or her crib (but i'm not happy with either options!)

you go grocery shopping? DD comes with me!

you're getting intimate with SO? she should be sleeping in her crib!

you need to be alone? I ditch her with DH and drive around a bit or get a massage while DH has her

you're cooking? Usually being entertained by DH

they get a time out? He sits against the wall in whatever room we are in

you go grocery shopping? Either with me or home with DH

you're getting intimate with SO? Sleeping

you need to be alone? Sleeping or with DH

Either with my mom, MIL, or family friend.

I play with her while DH cooks. Don't hate.
they get a time out?
Haven't started that fun process yet.
you go grocery shopping?
We all either go together or I'll stay behind and DH will go alone.
you're getting intimate with SO?
In her crib or with grandparents.
you need to be alone?
She plays with DH or goes to the grandparents for a few hours.

you go grocery shopping? with me, I don't do the grocery shopping

Where are your kids when.....

you're working? I don't. Unless you count housework. They are napping or in their playroom.

you're cooking? With DH.

they get a time out? We don't do timeouts. The only reason is that I used to put them in their cribs for timeout but they are both in toddler beds now. Making them stay in timeout is more a struggle than it is worth at this point.

you go grocery shopping? They go with me. Today my son chewed a hole in the aluminum foil and squashed the bread while my daughter sat on the ground beef and stepped on the bananas. No joke.

you're getting intimate with SO? They are almost always in bed asleep.

you need to be alone? They are in their playroom. Or sleeping.

you're working? with my mom, I only work 2 weekdays, and he is with DH on saturdays while I am at work.
you're cooking? usually playing in the kitchen or living room, (connected rooms)
they get a time out? we haven't started timeouts yet, just a firm NO and redirecting
you go grocery shopping? with me...in the cart
you're getting intimate with SO? asleep in his bed or sitting in his exersaucer watching yo gabba gabba
you need to be alone? naptime!

you're working?--at daycare or at grandma's house

you're cooking?--either hanging out w/ DH, playing w/ toys, or being underfoot

they get a time out?--she hasn't gotten timeouts yet...I still redirect

you go grocery shopping?--nearly always she is in the cart right there with me saying things like "people, people!" or just generally observing everything in sight.

you're getting intimate with SO?--sleeping

you need to be alone?--I'm sorry...what is this being "alone" thing that you speak of??

you're working? daycare center

you're cooking? under foot or in family room w/ my husband

they get a time out? still doing redirection

you go grocery shopping? I just started taking them both w/ me and if I move them from the little car to the the seat in the shopping cart for a change of scenery halfway through the trip then they are OK.

you're getting intimate with SO? can you explain to me what that is? ;-)

you need to be alone? my husband

you go grocery shopping? With us in the buggy. Or at home with the IL's

you're getting intimate with SO? Asleep in her crib.

you need to be alone? With my SO, in the living room.

you're working? I run a daycare from home, so she is always with me.

you're cooking? Either playing in the family room, or in the kitchen trying to get into mischief!

they get a time out? She doesn't get a timeout yet. But the older kids in my daycare sit at the bottom of the stairs.

you go grocery shopping? She comes with me.

you're getting intimate with SO? Fast asleep in her crib.

you need to be alone? With DH. Mommy needs a timeout of her own sometimes.

they get a time out? umm she does get tim out yet but when she does it will be in the corner

you're getting intimate with SO? if it is at night she is in her crib, if we can manage during the day in living room playing with her trucks

you're working? I work nights so she is at home with DH, but she goes to daycare while I sleep during the day

you're cooking? Either in the kitchen "helping" me or running around the house like a monster

they get a time out? We've tried the corner, but she doesn't stay there and thinks it's a game. might have to find somewhere else.

you go grocery shopping? with me-she LOVES shopping and charms everyone when we go!

you're getting intimate with SO? asleep on the rare occasion it happens

you need to be alone? with DH I guess-I don't really get alone time. It's either in the bathroom or commuting to work
