Ok, this is starting to make sense now. A woman with a 9.5 month old said to me today that her baby doesn't really like playing with Toddlers cause there is such an age difference when DD ran up to her. I asked how old her baby was and then I said well mine is only 2 months older. I couldn't figure it out. DD is 25 lbs and 32 inches. Is that really big?

DD was 23 lbs 5 oz and 30.5 in at her 12 mo so your DD isn't really that much bigger however I know those stats put her 70% for wt and 90% for height so most babies their age will be smaller.
Tegan was 20 lbs and 27.25 inches at her 12 month appointment, but I took her to the doctor a week ago and she'd grown 1.25 inches in a month. So, she's currently 20 lbs and 28.5 inches.
25 lbs and 32 inches is a decent size for a 12 month old. What percentile is she in?
I'd say yes, but all babies grow at different rates. DD is 19lb and 29in, and wears a size 12mo-18mo (the pants are a little big still). But for that woman to say her child doesn't like playing with older children is a HUGE disservice to her kid! They need to learn how to play with all ages of children, and how is her LO supposed to learn how to walk if they don't see other kids walking and want to imitate?
