Skin care- lactic acid? (Philosophy Hope in a Jar)

I know retinoids and salicylic-acid are no-nos, but does anyone know if skin care products that contain lactic acid are safe to use during pregnancy?

Also, does anyone use/like Philosophy's Hope in a Jar?  I have a Sephora giftcard burning a hole in my wallet!

    I have Hope in a Jar & I love it! It really helped me when my face got dry. I swear after using it for 2 days straight I had no more dry skin. =) I recommend it to all my family & friends =)

    lactic acid is fine -- it's the main component in the Belli Skin Care pregnancy facial wash I use.

    I have read that lactic acid is fine as well.  I am actually using another product from Philosophy that contains it, so I had to check first.

    I bought a pregnancy specific facial cleaner that used lactic acid as its base.  I assume its ok because of that.
