Dear DH, Your ability to turn my bad mood upside down is better than ever. Thank you for being so patient with me. I love you more than I ever dreamed I could. You are my best Christmas gift ever. Big hugs, wifey
Dear Christmas, Get here already! Signed, impatient gift giver
Dear neighbor with all the inflatable Christmas decorations, You must think I am a wacko stalker who sits in front of your house for 10 minutes every night, but DD has a huge crush on your lawn. Although I have never met you, you have created some of my favorite memories this year. Thank you and a very merry Christmas to you! Sincerely, not a stalker
Dear poor economy, Please start getting better. DH has been miserable at his job for far too long. You are my Christmas wish. Signed, supportive wife

Life is good!
Over the last few weeks I have read a lot of MIL vents on TB and I just have to say that I am so thankful for you. You are awesome. I actually get along with you better than my own mother. You bend over backwards for us and will help with DD at the drop of a dime. I love your willingness to help but also love your ability to not step on toes. You live only 3 blocks from us, sure you stop over sometimes without calling, but so what? You guys are there for us more than anyone and I trust DD with you whole heartedly.
So I want to thank you for being great!
Love,
DIL

I will second this letter. I love where we live but at this point I would even consider moving it it meant that DH could have a job that he loved and payed him what he is worth.
Dear DD,
I know that you have a cold and you have discovered how perfectly your finger fits in your nose, but please stop handing me "boogies" when we are out in public. It's gross.
Love,
Mamma
Dear Manager,
There are only four of us in the office today. No one is actually working. Please let us go home early. Nothing is more annoying than sitting here twiddling my tumbs when I could be hanging out with my kid.
There is light at the end of the tunnel but you cannot slack off yet. I know you aren't used to doing any productive work during the holidays but you did switch jobs this year so suck it up!
After your strategic plan presentation at 3:00 you can have a couple of days to relax with DH and the kiddos. Next week, right back at it to hit those 12/30 deadlines and prove your worth!
Signed,
Your Inner Cheerleader
Dear Nanny,
I am sorry you have been so sick and I was serious when I told you to take the the week off so please do not feel guilty. You have so much general leave time you haven't touched. Take it. Enjoy it. Get well. We will see you on Tuesday. Thank you so much for all you do for my children!
Signed,
A Grateful Mom

I really took my first pregnancy for granted as you never came around then. Oh this one is so different. I hope you don't stay around long. You are going to make it very hard to keep this pregnancy a secret; you might cost me me raise/bonus/promotion.
Love, Pukey
Dear Housing Market,
Please repeat our luck with selling this house. You were fantastic in moving our house in August in just four little days. Can you give a repeat performance with this one. I promise we won't be serial house-flippers. Please see above letter and have a little pitty. We could really use the profits from the house for upcoming babe.
Yes I am still a little upset at you for smashing up the car, but I will get over it. Despite what you think the car DOES have to get fixed, working headlights are very important when driving. Please stop acting like I'm inconveniencing you when you are not the one who now has to take the train everyday until the car is fixed.
Signed, your train taking wife
Dear MIL,
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you right now. I see so many stories about crazy MIL's and I thank my lucky stars that I have an understanding and caring MIL. You love my babies with all your heart, and you don't give your opinion unless I ask for it. You magically know when is a good time to offer to take the kids for a weekend, and although you spoil them, you graciously leave all the toys you buy them at your house for the next time they visit! If you could just talk to my Mom and share your views with her, I might have some peace this holiday season.
