Advice for tests, procedures..

My DD needs and ultrasound of her digestive tract and an emptying study. She can't eat before either of these procedures and will be cranky..

Do any of you have advice on keeping her entertained? Especially for the ultrasound.. I can't imagine her being still for 30+ minutes with a stranger, while she's hungry and mad...

    My Lo loves her light/music center from her play gym.  Does your LO have something like that? What about a mobile?

    I take "forbidden" items when I need to keep Ds occupied at the doctors office. I let him play with my cell phone and bring a Baby Einstein DvD. Maybe you could do something like that? They keep his interest because he's normally not allowed to have them.
