  Do you already have a play gym?  I have Baby Einstein's around the world.  My LO loves it and will play for almost an hour at a time.

  Ditto this.  and my DS has not really liked the swing very much since he was about 3 months.  I packed it away.

  are these things you will be getting, or are putting out there for relatives to get? if it's from you I would go with some board books, too on top of what you have.. and as pp said our swing hasn't been used since 3months either.. you would be much better off with a play mat or some sort

  Its a mix, most from me and her dad but my mom was going to get her a swing but since you all said they haven't really used them since 3 months I might tell her not to get that.
