I have a wide closet with two big doors that slide/overlap (not bifold). We removed the one self/bar to paint. PLEASE help me DIY or buy an organizer system that has a few bars and shelves/cubbies to put baskets into for the little stuff, and folded blankets, etc. Any Pics and tips and products you can share?
I know Lowes has some systems you can make into your own customizable system. We got our system at IKEA- it's a storage system we made into a closet system. I think I have pics in my blog.
we too have that type of closet. I put a metal shelf like this https://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/186-9104787-0537310?asin=B0002O9HLC&AFID=Froogle_df&LNM=|B0002O9HLC&CPNG=home%20improvement&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B0002O9HLC&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001 on one side with some baskets from target. On the other side I hung on of these from the the bar https://www.polyvore.com/shelf_hanging_closet_organizer_target/thing?id=8823144. that way, we had the hanging area, the baskets which have enough space to fold all of the sleepers in one basket alone. Then in the hanging organizer, I have folded all the pants. This has given us MORE than enough room for everything. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow
We bought Elfa systems from Container Store for both DS's nursery and the new baby's nursery. Love them and the fact that they can be reconfigured so easily. A bit pricey but highly recommended.
Re: PLEASE help with nursery closet!
Babies R Us has this closet organizer:

I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it got great reviews.
After looking at that link, I no longer think that LO has too many clothes! lol
i don't have pic of our closet (sorry). we live in a house that was built in the 1965 and the closets sucked. We went to lowes and got this system by rubbermaid https://www.lowes.com/pd_246444-315-FG3G59LWWHT_0__?productId=3065807&Ntt=rubbermaid&pl=1¤tURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Drubbermaid

You might want to consider a few bars and the expedit from Ikea.
Spending $$$ on a custom closet doesn't give you a return on your investment since your needs for the space will change pretty quickly.
Soon you'll want some space to store all those toys!
