Hands swelling. What to do?

For the last week or so, I have been waking up during the night because my arms have fallen asleep and are tingling. Also, my fingers are swelling during the night. Has anyone else had this? Do you know what causes it? Thanks

    pregnancy induced carpal tunnel probably due to the swelling.

    You can try wrist braces at night. You can also try to prop your hands up on pillows at night, above your heart preferably.

    Mine was so bad I would put ice packs on mys hands all day, soak them in warm water every morning. It was miserable!

    I have the same problem and I type at work - SO MISERABLE.  It doesn't seem to matter what position I sleep in...my hands fall asleep and swell up.  Everyone just keeps telling me to make sure that I am drinking enough water and moving around.  Good luck!
