Good 1st appointment!
It took the nurse a little while to find the heartbeat with the doppler (freaked me out even though she said it's normal to not find it at this point), but eventually we heard that wonderful sound. DS's eyes got very large and I think he enjoyed hearing his little brother's or sister's heartbeat.
We made the general announcement to the rest of our friends and relatives today after the appointment. Let the fun begin!
