Sleeping pain!

I get this pain 2-4 inches under my brestbone it only happens when I sleep on my sides. The pain feels like I pulled something or someone punched me.

Is this pain normal or Im I crazy?

    Is it your ribs?  I have this pain so bad if I sleep on my right side.  Which is horrible because if I don't switch from side to side my hips hurt very badly.  It is definitely not a win-win situation. Confused

     Im in the same boat, if I dont move my hips will hurt & if I sleep on my back my right leg goes numb. Its not really in my ribs its right under my breastbone.
