Is anyone else freezing all the time?

in 1st Trimester

I sure am!

I'd blame it on the weather but it's pretty nice here for Nov. in the Midwest, so that's not it.

It's also like bone chilling cold. No matter how many layers I have on.

I went through this last time and my dr. told me it's definitely a preg symptom although lesser discussed.

Anyone else with me?

    Totally with you- it's weird though, aren't pregnant women supposed to be hot all the time?

    Yes! I am. Its so weird. I don't remember being so cold when i was pregnant with my daughter. This time i'm due 6 weeks earlier then i was with her. So i'm thinking it's not weather related.

    What an odd symptom. Although if it stays i won't complain come May/June.

    I haven't been this pg, but with DD I was very cold natured.  Daytime temps are still in the 80's here, so it wouldn't be a bad thing.

    I am definitely always cold (as I sit here curled under a big warm blanket)...so not much has changed for me!

    I was going to post and ask the same thing!  I get a chill sometimes with goosebumps and have had to layer my clothes more now.  It seems to happen mostly right before I go to bed and doesn't last all day.  To me it's kinda like when you have the flu...I even took my temp last night to make sure it was ok and it was!

    That's just it! H asked me how I felt this morning and I said, "Like I'm coming down with a flu/cold that never shows."

    You're not alone! I tend to feel warm most of the time but in the last couple of weeks I have been freezing.  It's not the weather because it has been pretty decent, plus I'm shivering when I'm inside where it is warm too.  Weird symptom...hadn't even heard of it before now!

    Me .... its really annoying! At night, I don't even want to drink water because I feel like it freezes my insides.

     I read two different possibilities online - 1. that your blood flow is more diverted towards your uterus and less to your limbs and 2. that your iron is low.

     I have an appointment on friday morning so I figure I will ask then.

    Well this explains a lot. No one has ever said anything to me about this symptom. And every time I've been to the Dr., they have to give me a blanket or adjust the temperature for me!

    I'm cold ALL the time, and then all of a sudden I'll be super hot--to the point of sweating. It's annoying, I'd rather be cold all the time!Stick out tongue

    I am freezing all.the.time.  I'm glad to know that other people feel this way too!

    This is so comforting!! I read somewhere on here that one sign on an ectopic pregnancy could be cold chills so it has freaked me out for the past several weeks every time I get them! :( Soooo glad to see it is a common pregnancy symptom! :)

    I am opposite for the most part.  Work = comfortable (everyone else is freezing), Bed = boiling (have to have the fan on and poor dh is freezing), morning = freezing (not sure why, but I am cold in the mornings).

    Me!  I have the space heater in my office cranked to tropical just to be comfortable.

    Count me in!  Nothing feels better at the end of my day than changing into sweats and either sitting infront of the fire or snuggling under my comforter.

    i've been super cold.  I bought some new PJ's and angora socks to try and get comfy and warm in the evenings.  We have a leather couch though and its always cold, LAME!

    I swing both hot and cold at a moments notice here in NY.  I have to ask other people now if they are hot or cold just to back me up.  The other day, I got so hot in my classroom at work but my students backed me up saying it was quite intolerable there and we opened the windows at 35 degrees.
