Need OB/GYN recs near Perimeter Mall

I've changed insurance and can't stay with my previous dr since it was Kaiser. So, I'm on the market for someone new. Got any recs?

  • atlanta women's specialists (www.awsphysicians.com).  I typically either see a nurse practioner there or Dr Dawson who has done my previous two c/s's and hopefully my third.  he's the bomb.  but the office is the bomb too.  everyone is awesome, you can also email dr/nurses questions through their online portal, get scripts filled, get tests results and all kinds of stuff through their online portal.  it rocks.  I am notorious for forgetting a question until i leave and if it isn't urgent then I can just email and get a response quickly.  love them.  they are right by northside.

  • I go to Dr. Heath Graham at North Atlanta Women's Specialists on Johnson Ferry in that area. I really like how straight forward he is with everything; my S/O's brother and his girlfriend are going to him now to deliver their baby in December. I also saw Dr. Anon(sp?) at there practice on one visit as well and she was very nice.

  • Sorry my answer came out screwy..
  • Another vote for North Atlanta Women's Specialist. I really loved the practice and all the physician. I see Dr. Anand.

    Major things to consider:

    1. This didn't bother me and I think it's pretty normal in Atlanta practices, your Doctor might not be the one delivering your baby. Dr. Donnely and Hirsch delivered mine and I have nothing but great things to say about them and my delivery experience.

    2. Appointments get backed up so it's best to schedule first thing in the morning or first after lunch.

I'll second or third North Atlanta Women's Specialists.  I love them!  I primarily saw Dr. Anand - LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!  But as others have said unless you will have a scheduled delivery your doc may not deliver you.  Dr. Heath Graham ended up delivering me and he rocked!  I ended up with a c-section and he was so awesome through the whole process!

  • I agree with LadyBugDZ, although I see Dr. Michele Houston. She is wonderful and gives me a hug every time I see her.
  • I also see Dr. Sun at Women's Health Associates and I adore her.  She is by far the best doctor I've ever had.  Dr. Houston and Dr. Soufi are great too!
  • Another fan of North Atlanta Women's Specialists and Dr. Anand. She is wonderful!
