I love Bentley! BUT if I would have never heard the name on Teen mom and seen how cute her little Bentley was then I would probably hate the name. So pretty much I love it because the kid on tv lol
I think a car company is not an appropriate name for a child and future adult. But if you must use it, please don't alter it to a feminine misspelling.
Nope, sorry. If I have heard a billion terrible things already about wanting to use the family name Mercedes, there is no way in heck people are going to be more understanding/tolerant of the name Bentley.
Let me just say, if you can afford a Bentley, you probably wouldn't name your child after it. The name itself teeters wannabe pretentious and uneducated. Sorry.
I really like the name Bentley/Bentlee. I was thinking about Bentley/Bentlee Aiden.
What do you think about the name Bentley/Bentlee?
I once knew this girl and she liked shows like Smallville, Dawsons, and those other teen/young adult drams on the WB... and she picked named from those. Or movies like A Walk to Remember.
And she wasn't pregnant either, but liked to post about names.
If I saw Bentlee I would pity the child. The name Aiden is not good either.

Re: Bentley/Bentlee
I think:
1. Teen Mom
2. Car
3. The neighbor from The Jefferson's
This is probably the name I dislike more than any other.

Well, since you asked...

I'd keep looking.
MUD, first post and bringing up two of the most hated names on here? Pshhh.
But if you ARE serious, it's awful. It's one of those uneducated, teen mom type names.
I have a few comments on this name...no particular order
1. Surname, not my style
2. Car
3. No boy should have the word, bent, in his name...I can already see the penis jokes.
4. Aidan is the best spelling of the name. Yeah, I'm going to say it - it's the original, Irish spelling.

I thought so too, but answered anyway. It has all the MUD markers though.

Not a fan.
I think the amount you like this name is directly related to how young you are. The under 20 crowd seems to really love it.
I don't like any of the "expensive items I cannot afford" names. Bentley, Chanel, Diamond, Porsche, etc.
IF you must name your son Bentley, please don't give him the "ee" feminized spelling. Just own it and spell it the way the car brand does.

It's a car, not a name.
But if you're going to use it, at least spell it right--Bentley.
Just don't. Step away from the birth certificate with a name like Bentley.
Absolutely. This is as trendy and vomit-worthy as it gets. But if you do decide to go with it, for the love of God please don't spell it Bentlee.

any kid that shares their name with a car brings to mind the Kanye West lyrics "she couldn't afford a car, so she named her daughter Alexus"
so, my vote is no
I prefer it spelled Bentley, it's our next Pug's name.
We have Bexley, Beverly and next is Bentley (Bex, Bev & Ben) funny huh?
This.

If you MUST use it, I would only use it for a boy and only use the spelling Bentlee.
This exactly!
