Melted DH's heart

Yesterday I got home from work before DH. When DH got home Matty recognized the car door slam sound and went running to the window to see who it was and then went to the door. When DH came through Matty got all excited and shrieked and then ran and got their favorite book to read (which was on the couch). Matty then flung himself into DH for a hug. DH said he could not have asked for a sweeter welcome home.

I'm sure your DH's work stress disappeared instantly with that awesome welcome. LO also gets super excited when DH comes home, he runs to dad as soon as he enters the house, it's so cute.

Love it!

We live in a 2nd floor condo and will sit on top of the steps sometimes waiting for DH to come home. Delaney now recognizes his car and squeals when she sees him get out of the car - it's quite the welcome home for DH!
