Yes! It's the beginning of the end!!!
Was at the doc today (37 weeks, 4 days) and I'm 70% effaced, 1 cm dilated. What's more, I went to visit a friend for brunch and when I went to pee, I found my bloody show staring up at me!
Yay! Someone remind me to be this upbeat when I am wracked with evil contractions!

I don't want to be a downer, but are you sure that was your bloody show and not just blood tinged mucous caused from the internal you had today? It could still be a while for you, but 1cm is better than 0cms!
