Don't eat, drink, or smoke before you take your temperature (this includes ingesting sperm!).

LOL. That is too funny.
All they have to say is: Use the same thermometer, stick it in the same opening at the same time every morning. (Before you get out of bed, have sex, move, drink, pee, etc. FIRST THING after the alarm goes off.)
