Induction clicky poll...

I am just curious what your MW/OBGYN's  policy on inducing pregnancy is. Obviously we aren't talking about cases where there is a problem with specific medical issues.  There are some many posts about the topic and it will be interesting to see what the averages are....[Poll]

    Typically, my OB induces between 41 and 42 weeks.  Since I am a VBAC candidate (or I will be if this guy moves out of the breech position), my doc will let me go 5 days past my due date before inducing (if favorable) or doing a c/s.

    i hated the idea of being induced but since were now headed into week 42 the idea seems like a godsend to me.

    I'm am it different since I only see a high risk specialist.  Since all of her patients are high risk for some reason or another, she tends to induce earlier - like 38-39 weeks.

    Im not sure I didnt make it to the point to ask, she already brought up early induction info so. I really dont know.

    My office will only induce before 41 weeks for a medical reason.

    This really got me thinking.  I am monitored by 4 different doctors right now because of my baby's condition.  The doctors at Children's Hospital recommended my induction between 37-38 weeks, my high risk said 38 weeks, the delivering OB had hopes to get me to almost 39 weeks (but he admitted that is not likely to happen) so he changed his to most likely 37 weeks, and my regular OB hasn't mentioned it because she knows I won't be delivering with them.  So I am somewhere 39 weeks and under but again that's because my baby isn't healthy.

    I'll be induced at 38 weeks if the twins and I make it that far.

    My OB thought my DS was going to be huge and said she would induce me at 38wk 4d for size.  I declined.  I ended up being induced at 39wk 4d for pre-e stuff anyhow.
