No updates on me this week. Just getting bigger and sicker. Looking forward to Wednesday's 1st OB appointment. I hope I get the same care and attention I got from the RE and that the babies have made great progress since my u/s 2 weeks ago.
We will find out our babies' genders because we believe it is a surprise no matter when you find out. We also want to be as prepared as possible (since we are having 2). I'm sure with twins we are going to have our hands so full that a ready to go nursery (no last minute layette pickups) and closet full of clothes will be much needed.
My cousin did this. His wife didn't want to know but he did. So she let him know and he held that secret the entire time. He would play games with the rest of the family. I would call my mother and say "Cuz was on the phone and slipped and called the baby a "he" it's a boy." My mother would say, "I spoke to cuz yesterday and he said "she" it's a girl." I was so convinced it was a boy (all the stuff they registered for looked masculine to me) that when my mother called from the hospital to tell me girl I refused to believe her.
Update: We're having twins! Found 2 perfect little heartbeats at our ultrasound last week. Babies are measuring slightly ahead and perfect. We're thrilled! I'm still pretty sick, but the Zofran is definitley helping me be at least functional.
QOTW: We will definitley be finding out. Now with two, I want to be really prepared before the babies come, and it's a surprise no matter if its in the delivery room or the ultrasound room. One is just sooner - which I like! Haha.
Congrats! I paged you on Feb 11 last night because I saw your new ticker. Are they mono or in separate sacs?
Still feeling pretty good over here.. not much to report. I suppose no news is good news!
QOTD: We will be finding out the sex because we're both such planners, and we want to be able to decorate the nursery as soon as possible.

QOTW - We are definitely not finding out. I've always thought it would be amazing to go through labor knowing there's a big surprise at the end of it. I know that it's special no matter when you find out, but for me, I'd rather wait.

QQTD: We will find out what the baby is going to be because I can not not know. That would drive me absolutely nuts! It will be a surprise when we find out whether it be in the delivery room or on the u/s.
I would love to be added! We are going to find out the gender because DH "is going to drive himself crazy over the next couple of months until we find out" at least that's what he said to me in the car yesterday. I would have liked to have waited but the suspense would probably kill me.

QOTD: We will be finding out the gender of the baby so we can properly plan for their arrival into this world. Husband has jokingly told me that he wants a boy and I have a feeling we're having a girl, but no matter who we bring into this world I know we're going to absolutely adore them.

QOTD: We are definitely finding out. DH and I are both planning type of people, and we need to know in order to plan. Plus, I want to buy a bunch of clothes, I'm addicted to buying baby clothes. I pretty much stocked my nephew's closet for the first year of his life

QOTW: Why will/won't you find out the gender of your baby (ies)?
DH and I will be finding out the gender of the baby. However, we do not plan on announcing the gender to family / friends until the delivery room. We will find out the gender so we can shop and decorate but the nursery will be off limits to everyone. We have also picked out a pretty gender neutral theme that we can put a girly / boyish touch on.

DH and I are not sure if we will be having another child after this one, so we want it to be a complete surprise until we hear those words, "It's a ______!" on delivery day.

QOTW: We want to know so we can start planning for a boy or girl. I am also one of those who doesn't go for green/yellow, so I want to start buying pink or blue!
Plus, we definitely want to start calling our baby by his/her name instead of "baby" 
No real updates here, either... I can finally feel my ute protruding out from behind my pelvic bones, so that's exciting... and our NT scan is scheduled for Thursday!
QOTD: I have every intention of finding out (in fact, I'm really hoping for a guess at the NT scan even though I know there's no guarantee it'll be correct), but I'm hoping to keep the secret from others for a while - I'm thinking of announcing it at my shower if MIL flies down for it, or as part of a Christmas newsletter or something.

I am almost 5 weeks now and I don't have to much going on... Cramping every now and then, hungry, and tired alot but thats about it. Hopefully it stays that way!

DH and I are still debating whether we wanted to know! He says I want to know - not being surprised while you are on the delivery table - so he is in favor of knowing up front which it is going to be. I on the other hand say - would it not really be better to have a surprise like a present to open on Christmas morning - something to look forward too! Tell me ladies - am I not right!

We will not find out. I don't see the point in it or the importance for me personally. All that matters is that baby is healthy. Plus, we want more kids, so this way, we have no choice but to buy everything neutral. If we knew, I think I might be tempted to buy blues for a boy and teals/purples for a girl or something like that.

Yes we will for a couple of reasons:
1.) I am a planner, so I will be dying to get everything all together.
2.) My mother is an ultrasound tech and she obviously will be able to tell - no way she'll be able to keep it a secret!

QOTW: We will def be finding out what we are having. I am a planner and couldnt stand waiting until I have the baby before I find out what it is. Also..I have seen SO many cute lil boy/lil girl outfits that I want to buy. I cant bring myself to buy the neutral sex stuff.
Update: U/S #3 showed Baby A's strong heartbeat again and I was diagnosed with SCH. RE concerned over U/S results and sending me for level 2 U/S on Wed and repeat b/w

We are not finding out for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I've always (since being a little girl) wanted to be surprised at my baby's sex. Since getting pregnant, DH and I have discussed it and we have decided that because of the way his family is with gift giving, we wouldn't find out. They love giving presents, but if they know the sex, 90% of them will be clothes. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate any gift, but I'd rather people spend money on the essentials we will need rather than getting a million little outfits that the baby will outgrow before they can wear more than once. I'm not worried about not having enough clothes since I've been offered clothes from a neice and nephew (1.5 and 1 years old now).
