25 1/2 weeks- terb pump and shortening cervix

I experieced pre term labor at almost 22 weeks and have now made it 27 more days. Just got out of the hospital for the third time. My cervix went from 3cm on June 8 to 1.4 as of yesterday. I went on a terb pump on June 7 and had to have a mag sulfate wash on June 25. Has anyone else been able to hang on with so much cervix change? The maternal fetal medicine guys state I need to make it to 28 weeks so my twins have a good chance. However this morning I am having more uterine irritability. My regular ob states I will have more and contract more due to twins.

    Sorry to hear you are going through this.  I was put on bedrest at 26 weeks because my cervix had gone from 4.2 to 2.4,  It has been holding for the last three weeks there and even measured up  to 2.8 recently.  I was rarely having contractions and didn't require meds.  I also only have one little one in there.  I guess this isn't that helpful of a post, but good luck to you!
