Orrin- My first thought was Orvis--the fishing catalog. But I don't dislike it.

I really need your initial thought or association, not whether you like it or not. My husband and I are deep in an argument on a couple of these names and it has to do with what people think of when they hear the name.

Arthur - King Arthur, or the kid's books about Arthur
Jasper - This is the only one I like, I have a friend with a little boy named Jasper
Orrin - Nothing comes to mind, but it's NMS
Julius - Caesar, or Orange Julius

I didn't have any associations with some of them, which is why I just told you whether or not I liked it. I told you that my first thought about Arthur is that it is a nice classic name and family name for us and that Julius makes me think "Caesar". The others have no instant associations for me.
Alden- reminds me of that actor Alden Alda (I think his name was Alden)- the guy that was on MASH anyway.
Arthur- reminds me of an old guy or that nerdy whiney cartoon Arthur
Jasper- I love the name but it reminds me of Twilgiht (not that its a bad thing- just as long as isn't actually named after that charactor)
Orrin- Sounds like an old name. not an old man name- but just an old name
Julius- 1st thing that pops in my mind is Ceasar.
Sebastian- reminds me of the crab from The Little Mermaid and also the lead singer from Skid Row.

Arthur - first thought? a name for an old dude. But, I appreciate that it is not made up, not trendy and is more classic.

Orrin - it's alright, not a huge fan, but I can see why someone else would like it
Julius - Ceaser
Sebastian - no real association here; I think it's a nice name but some parents can sound really snooty depending on how they pronounce it.
