A blister form of diaper rash?

DD has what looks like a normal diaper rash, except that there are a couple blister looking things on her skin, not raised, but round and painful looking. The weird thing is, those are like an inch or two away from the actual hole (yes, that hole) so I don't get what would cause that. Any ideas? I'm putting regular diaper rash cream on it, hopefully that will do the trick.

Re: A blister form of diaper rash?

  • Are you using Pampers cruisers?  DS who never gets a rash has started getting them since Pampers made a change to the cruisers, I read on the internet that there are a lot complaints.  I'm using diaper rash ointment and my dr told me to add baking soda to DS's bath which did seem to help.
  • Could it be a yeast rash?  DD gets a white bumpy (almost pimply, but looks like small blisters) rash when it's yeast.  If so, try some Lotrimin (OTC) and baking soda in the bath water.  It usually clears DD up within a few hours.

  • If you are new pampers cruisers that would be the reason!
