What made him think this?

  My oldest is in Kindergarten and he has a field trip tomorrow.  I have a doc appt tomorrow and my son is now convinced that the baby is being born tomorrow and has told everyone at his school that its gonna happen.  I have no idea where this even came from. I have been trying to tell him that we have jsut 3 weeks left not 2 days.  not working though.  I have a feeling that he is going to be disappointed that the baby wont be here when he gets home from school.   

 My children I tell ya!

    Sounds like maybe is is very excited, or maybe a little anxious since he is going somewhere on a trip that you are going to have the baby and he won't be with you right away to see him/her.  I would just reassure him that even if it did happen, you and the baby will be fine and you'll see him when he gets back from the frield trip.
