Who still boils water for bottles?

DD is 6 weeks and we have city water.....pediatrician said it's okay to stop boiling her water but I still keep doing it thinking its somehow better?

Am I the only one? Anyone else still boil water for bottles that has city water???

I never boiled water and we use city.

Never boiled, just use cold water and nuke the milk. The warm water from your tap is supposedly not as clean b/c of the hot water heater or something.

We boil the water and put it into a pitcher so it sets at room temp.

we boil the water and let it sit at room temp and use it as needed.

We boil and store in fridge. The cooler temp keeps "stuff" from growing, plus we premake bottles and refrigerate, so it's all cold anyway.
