Did my water break?

I got out of bed and all of the sudden felt a warm gush of liquid come out so I stood there for a second and more came out so I ran to the bathroom and pulled my undies down and they were soaked. I wiped and lots of clear liquid came off the paper.

I decided to put another set of undies and sweats to see what would happen. 20 min I was standing at the back door and felt another warm gush of liquid and ran to the bathroom and my undies were all soaked. Water was trickling down my leg. I wiped again and its a clear liquid and was more this time.

I just changed my undies again and it happened again.

Could this be my water breaking? I have not had any bladder control problems my whole pregnancy. The thing that confuses me is I heard no pop and no rush of water came out this is more like a steady stream.

Sometimes it's not a rush of water-just depends on the person..but it sounds like yours did break! Does it smell like pee? I would definitely go get it checked though-sounds like your water broke!

Sounds like it to me. Not everyone gets the "pop" and hollywood style gush. Did you smell the liquid? I think it's supposed to have a bit of a sweet smell.

ummm..i would say yes, call your doctor. GL! If you can't stop the flow and it keeps on coming....I was told that is a yes.

If it doesn't smell like pee then it's your water breaking. Call L&D.

if you try and stop the stream (as if you were using the bathroom) and you cant stop it then yes that is your water breaking.....get ready to head to the hospital, GOOD LUCK!

Did you smell it? If it doesn't smell like urine, it sounds like your water broke to me. Hopefully you get to meet your LO soon.

Definately call your doctor...that's what happened to me with my daughter. I stood up and felt a warm trickle run down my leg. At first, I thought maybe it was just the usual "leaking", but when it kept happening, I quickly realized that it was my water breaking. I didn't gush, just kept trickling. There was no pop either. Congratulations, sound slike baby is on the way!!!

my water broke w. charlie and it def didn't have a smell at all. if it doesn't smell like urine, i bet it's your water! call the doc and head on in, GL and hopefully you will be holding your LO soon!!
