Just curious... how old are you if this is your first pregnancy??
I'm 28. I feel like I am starting so late, I want to know if I am alone!

2011 Reading Challenge
I'm 30 now and will be 31 when I deliver. 28 isn't old or young to start. With so many women waiting and working until they're in their 30s you're actually a little early. I know how it feels to feel a little "late" though. My husband and I got married at 23 and everyone expected us to start our family right away. But we waited and I'm so glad because now we're financially and emotionally ready to be parents.
I think it really depends on your own social circle. Like all my friends who are LDS were having babies at 20 and 22, but that was part of their society. Marry young, babies young.
I'm 31, and I'm married for two years, and I've got a few friends my age who've just had them, and a few friends who are thinking about starting, and a few friends who aren't even married yet, so I figure I'm right in that time for my social circle.

31 - I thought for sure Id have a couple before 30, but life doesn't always work out that way. Now I just want to try to have them all done by 35!

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.
Feeling ancient as I type this!!! We started late (we met and married in 2009), but better late than never!
I'll be 35 on Wednesday (3/3) & hubby will be 44 on 3/14. EDD 10/31
I turned 29 about a month after I conceived. DH will be 33 about a month before the baby is born.
Part of me feels like I am too young, as in, I don't feel like a grown up yet. Which is weird because I have been married for almost 4 years now. Have been taking care of myself since well before that. Pay my own bills, have two stepsons, and generally a responsible person .... I just don't feel like a grown up.
And then the other part of me thinks about the number ... 29 .... I wanted to be done having children by the time I was 30, and I definitely want more than one, but don't want them right after each other. So it is kind of a mind blow that I am almost 30 and just starting.
I don't think anyone should take offense to this... It's a proven fact that most people have their children at 25? I think that is what I heard on the news the other day. Our eggs are less and less every day! So I know what she is saying by 28 being late. Luckily people have children a lot later now and there are some plus sides to that and as in my case sometimes life doesn't go your way...
I had just turned 27 when I had DS (this is considered young for this area).
I'll be 29 when LO #2 comes.

BFP 1/20/10, EDD 9/28/10, born 10/5/10
TTC #2 since Nov 2011:
BFP 2/8/12, MC @ 5 weeks; BFP 3/22/12, MC @ 5 1/2 weeks; BFP 9/10/12, MC @ 6 weeks
Started seeing RE Nov 2012. Chromosomal test and all other tests came back "normal". Unexplained MCs. Found mild hytpothyroidism. Two unmedicated cycles, both BFNs. First medicated cycle (clomid, ovidrel) 1/23/13. Low progesterone found during 9DPO P4 test = 7.6. Put on prometrium supplements.
BFP 2/16/13; 2/18/13 (13 dpo): Beta #1=52.8, progesterone=18.7; estrogen = 412; Dr. increased progesterone dosage.
2/21/13 (16 dpo): Beta #2 = 269; progesterone = 32.4
2/25/13 (20 dpo): Beta #3 = 1,236
2/28/13 (23 dpo): Beta #4 = ?? tbd
