How many oz. in a typical jar of baby food?

Just curious for comparison when I see people post about how much they are feeding (I make the food and use the ice-cube trays).

The stage 2 glass jars are 4oz. Those are the average size baby food jars you'd think of. The gerber stage 2 plastic containers are 3.5 oz. When I freeze food I make 4oz bags.

It depends... we were using the Gerber organic stage 2, and they were 3.5 oz.  We recently switched to the "Naturally Preferred" (Kroger brand) organic and they are 4 oz. jars.

I make some of LO's food and he eats about 3 cubes of that per meal.

I make dd's food as well but just eyeball it using about 3-4 tbsp.

When I look at the jars it barely looks like enough. I don't think my dd would be pleased with me. lol  She loves to eat!
