I am currently trying to find the best type of diaper brand. We are expecting a baby boy and I have hurd that different diapers work differently for boy. Some working better for girls and others working better for boys...PLEASE HELP!!!!
I spent five hours online the other night reading about diapers (things you think you'll never do...), and we decided to cloth diaper, but the best advice I took from both CD and disposable fans were that when LO is brand new you should try a few different brands before buying a honkin industrial size package. All sources said to register or buy small packages of all the different brands and just see what works best. Some may be too big, too small, etc...GL!
In the beginning, I really loved the yellow stripe turning to blue feature of the Pampers Sensitives. Honestly I think ALL diapers should have this feature. One look and you can tell for sure if he's wet or not! They stop carrying these at size 2 or 3, sadly. But if you want my opinion, at 3 in the morning with dim light, it was a groggy parent's best friend, that darn stripe!
From what I've heard, regardless of gender every baby is different. I probably would just get a couple different brands when baby gets here and see which one is better on YOUR baby.

DS #1 was great in Luvs, DS #2 could only use Pampers. It completely depends on the baby.
