My husband and I both like unpopular names, we however have settled on Peyton for a girls name, but have recently noticed it is much more popular than we thought. I was just wondering how common it actually is, do you know ppl who have named their children this?
I think it is a trendy name. I know two little girls and one boy with this name and have heard it mentioned a lot. I definitely wouldn't consider it unpopular but it is a nice name.

I don't know any Peyton's but we considered that name for our LO. It could just be that you're noticing that name more now since it's on your radar. Kind of like when you buy a new car, you start noticing that car more when you're driving around and it seems like everyone has it.

I know 3 under the age of 2, all in different parts of the country. Also, it was a character on One Tree Hill so I think that's how it gained a lot of popularity.
